He was a long time volunteer since 1984 and was the Past Vice President, Secretary of the Saiva Mission of Quebec. An ardent supporter and fund raiser for the Montreal Thirurmurugan Temple and have many affiliations with the Religious and Social mosaic. He also has good political affiliations with the City of Dollard des Ormeaux (Temple’s Region) in Quebec Province – Canada. His parental roots are from the City of “Kandar Madam” in Jaffna District in Sri Lanka.
